Privacy Policy
Overview
This data security and privacy statement applies to Timesheet for Confluence (“The App”) developed by i4ware Software (“i4ware”, “we”, “us”, “our”). The App is made available through the Atlassian Marketplace for Atlassian Server products running on clients IT systems. This Privacy Policy describes how i4ware collects, uses, stores, shares and protects your personal data associated with The App.
If you are using The App on behalf of a company, you acknowledge that you are binding your company to this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third parties and their actions that i4ware does not own or control, including, but not limited to, any third-party websites, services and applications accessed through The App.
What Personal Data We Process and Why We Process It
To keep it simple, The App itself does not collect any kind of data from the user. However, i4ware collects information from you in the following situations:
When Licensing The App
If a customer licenses The App, Atlassian will provide us, in accordance with the Atlassian Privacy Policy, license details as well as the customer's name, business ID, billing address, and contact person details. If applicable, Atlassian will also provide the customer's technical support and financial officer's details, as well as the name and email address of the customers’ registered Atlassian contact and, if applicable, the reseller company. We do not receive, collect, or store any other account or credit card information from Atlassian you provide. i4ware uses this data for accounting and support verification purposes.
When Requesting Support
We will process personal data on your behalf if we provide you with support. We offer support through two different channels based on your choice: inquiries by e-mail to info@i4ware.fi and i4ware – Help Center.
To provide you with support, we will collect:
· your name,
· mail adress,
· phone number,
· email address,
· IP address,
· country of residence, and
· other personal data you choose to share with us, in order to answer your questions or respond to your request, comment, or complaint.
If a support request is received via email, only i4ware has access to it. However, if the request is processed in the Help Center, the related information is stored in a cloud service managed by Atlassian, to which i4ware has limited access. i4ware is not responsible for Atlassian's data security but handles the information received through Atlassian in accordance with this policy.
The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you (GDPR art. 6 (1) b). The duration of processing depends on the nature of the support request.
When Deleting The App
If you choose to delete The App from your server, i4ware will inquire about the reasons for discontinuing its use. The personal data collected in response to this inquiry will be anonymized prior to collection, ensuring that it cannot be used to identify you. This kind of data may be used for statistical and research purposes in accordance with applicable law. It can also be used to analyze, develop, improve, manage and protect The App.
Based on your separate consent, i4ware may use personal data also for marketing and promotional purposes.
Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data
Depending on the circumstances, processing of personal data is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by i4ware, or for the performance of a contract, or is based on your consent.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You may withdraw your consent by informing i4ware thereof to address info@i4ware.fi.
Disclaimer of Liability for Customer-Managed Servers
i4ware is not responsible for data security or data handling when the application is installed on the customer's own server. It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure the security of their systems and the proper use of the application. i4ware is not liable for any security breaches, data loss, or other damages resulting from the management of the customer's systems or inadequate data security.

Personal Data Retention
i4ware will retain Personal Data for as long as needed to provide the products to you. i4ware will also retain Personal Data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

i4ware processes and stores your personal data primarily within the European Union. However, personal data may be transferred, in compliance with applicable regulations, to the United States and/or other third countries that do not have similar laws providing specific protection for personal data or that have different legal rules on data protection. Should i4ware transfer your personal data to such third countries, personal data will be protected as described in this Privacy Policy and in accordance with the applicable law.
Data Subject Rights
Under the applicable data protection legislation, you have certain rights as a data subject. You have the right to request from i4ware access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability.
